Mari and Dennis founded GlobalGiving on the premise that the $20 given by each of a community of informed donors could be as powerful as the $20,000 given by one “well researched” donor. Our friend Lucy Bernholz at Philanthropy 2173 posted a cool graph about the distribution of givers in the US. The potential power of leverage. Check it out:
