I would just add that the trust breakdown on the finanancial markets front is even more complicated - lenders "trusted" that borrowers were telling the truth when they stated their income....employees of fannie mae and lehman "trusted" their leadership to protect the funds in their ESOP/retirement accounts (aka shares of the company).  Trust is not always = big guy screws little guy, and the so-called "Wall Street" bailout isn't taking care of those employees' life savings.</description>
